About Me
My name is Bella Crook (she/ her), I am a passionate medical herbalist, dedicated to blending traditional herbal knowledge with evidence-based, science-informed practice. My work is rooted in the belief that true health comes from understanding and supporting the whole person: mind, body and environment.
I trained extensively over four years to complete a Level 6 Professional Diploma in Medical Herbalism with the Betonica School of Herbal Medicine Professional Programme, a comprehensive course blending modern science with traditional plant wisdom. This training included in‑depth study of anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, clinical skills, materia medica and 500 hours of supervised clinical experience.
I love connecting people with nature and empowering them to take control of their own wellbeing. Whether it’s through personalised consultations, workshops, or community events, my goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels supported and heard.
I work alongside conventional medicine, ensuring herbal treatments complement rather than replace other healthcare approaches. I am deeply committed to building a sense of community and sharing skills that help you live in balance with yourself and the natural world.
Through my workshops, I guide people in sustainable medicine-making, growing and foraging herbs, as well as exploring mental health and wellbeing outdoors. I bring creativity, curiosity, and compassion to everything I do, making learning about herbal medicine both practical and inspiring.
Whether you are new to herbal medicine or seeking ongoing support, my approach is professional, evidence-informed, and my goal is to create a warm space where you can feel safe, empowered and supported on your health journey.
